This is not an April Fool's post. Nobody I knew around here even knew about April Fools. It was like nothing I had ever been to before... I must have spent hours upon hours in queue after queue. Just to get into a popular site, you had to wait in a long line.
Prior to anything though, my friends and I wanted to see the biggest attractions. It was a 3 hour wait just to get a ticket to go to it later in the day. At which time, we had to wait another hour in another queue for entrance. I was most blown away on the second day, when we went to the Harry Potter theme park. It was splendidly built to look like a mash of Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. It took culture and language to a whole new level. Here, as a fan of J.K. Rowling and the movies, I could talk to people of similar interests. I could meet people I would not otherwise meet. I even learned a few new things about the way Japanese people see American movies. Overall, it was a splendid trip, but had long queues that were outrageously ridiculous. Leave a Reply. |
